Standard First Aid/CPR-C/AED
Standard First Aid is for individuals requiring comprehensive information on First Aid and CPR for their workplace.
Intermediate First Aid Level C CSA is for individuals requiring comprehensive information on First Aid and CPR for their workplace, school, or as a prerequisite for the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course*.
Upon completion, participants receive a certificate valid for 3 years.

Delivery Method: In-Class
Students in the Standard First Aid course will learn:
- CPR for adults, children, and infants
- How to use AEDs
- Choking and breathing emergencies
- Mental health first aid
- Opioid overdose awareness
- Bleeding and burn management
- Bone and joint injuries
- Environmental emergencies
This course meets Standard First Aid (SFA) standards, and exceeds CSA requirements for Intermediate First Aid in Canada. This course meets Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Workplace First Aid (WFA) standards, but is not recognized by CNESST in Quebec.
*Please note that the EMR course provided by Sea to Sky Safety Academy INCLUDES Standard First Aid/CPR-C/AED, removing the requirement of this course as a stand-alone prerequisite.
